Troubleshooting and safety

Find a missing Round, understand an unavailable page, or get help from the SayRound team.

I cannot find my Round or manage link

  • Check that you are signed in to the SayRound account you used to save it.
  • Look in My Rounds and Drafts, clear filters, and try searching its title.
  • For an unpublished account-free draft, return to the same browser, device, and starting format.
  • For an account-free published Round, look for the complete private manage link you saved when publishing, or try the original browser if it still has management access.

A public participant link does not prove ownership. If both the private link and same-browser access are lost, there is no self-service way to recover management access. Contact support for help, but recovery cannot be guaranteed.

A Round will not open

Ask the person who shared it for the complete participant link. For a protected Round, get the password from its Creator. Signing in does not replace the password.

An expired Round no longer opens for Participants, though its Creator can remove or extend the expiry from Edit. A deleted or restricted Round may also be unavailable. Closing Responses alone does not remove the participant page.

I cannot submit or see Results

  • Follow any highlighted answer message. Complete required activities and any optional activity you have started.
  • Place every Ranking or Tier List item, and finish all Bracket matchups.
  • Check whether Responses have closed or you have already submitted through your account or this browser.
  • If a security check appears, complete it before trying again.
  • If Results are hidden, the Creator may be waiting until Responses close or keeping them private.

If live updates stop, use Refresh where available. Before reloading while answering, remember that unsubmitted answers are not guaranteed to survive a reload. If a submission’s outcome is unclear, reopening the Round can show whether your Response was saved.

Report a concern

Use the report action on a Round to flag unsafe or rule-breaking content. You can also open the report form and paste the public SayRound link.

Explain the concern clearly and keep the tracking reference shown after sending. For an urgent threat to someone’s safety, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than waiting for a content report.
