Accounts and security

Keep your Rounds together and look after your SayRound account.

When you need an account

You can take part and publish a text-only Round without signing in. An account lets you add images, save Rounds to your account, and find drafts and Results in one personal workspace.

Create an account or sign in with the options shown, including Google and email/password. Use the same sign-in method you used when you created the account.

Save an account-free Round to your account

  1. Open the private manage link, or return in the browser that still has management access.
  2. Sign in to your SayRound account.
  3. Return to the management page and choose Save to my account.
  4. Find the Round under My Rounds.

You must already have management access. A participant link alone cannot be used to take ownership, and signing in does not automatically claim account-free Rounds.

Update your account details

Open Account in your workspace to review your details, change your username, or start an email change.

Username changes include an availability check and a 30-day cooldown. Follow the confirmation-email steps when changing your email address; starting the change does not immediately replace your current address.

Password and two-factor authentication

Open Security to request a password-reset email, set up an authenticator, or disable two-factor authentication with confirmation.

Authenticator setup shows a QR code and a manual key. Add the account to your authenticator, then enter its six-digit code to finish setup. Keep the setup key private.

If you cannot sign in with a password, use Reset password and check your inbox and spam folder. If you normally use Google, try that sign-in method. Sign out when you finish on a shared device.
